Asian Journal of Economic Development (AJED), is the one journal that effectively bridges the gap between academics, policy makers, and practitioners and links the various economic development communities. Although geared to Asian economic development and revitalization, international perspectives are welcome and encouraged. Featuring timely, relevant, and practical essays, presents today's most pivotal issues and details the programs and policies affecting development at every level.
TYPE OF MANUSCRIPTS
Original articles should describe new and carefully confirmed findings, and experimental methods should be given in sufficient detail for others to verify the work. The length of an original article is the minimum required to describe and interpret the work clearly. Reviews: Submissions of reviews and perspectives covering topics of current interest are welcome and encouraged. Reviews should not be longer than 4-6 printed pages (about 12 to 20 manuscript pages). Reviews are also peer-reviewed.
All articles must be submitted online. Electronic submission of manuscripts is strongly encouraged, provided that the text, tables, and figures are included in a single Microsoft Word file. Manuscripts (in English), together with a covering letter from the author responsible for all correspondence, should be submitted through e-mails attachment to : Editorial Office at: firstname.lastname@example.org, or email@example.com. A manuscript number will be mailed to the corresponding author same day or within 72 hours. The cover letter should include the corresponding author's full address and telephone/fax numbers and should be in an e-mail message sent to the Editor, with the file, whose name should begin with the first author's surname, as an attachment.
1) All manuscripts are reviewed by the Editorial board as well as by qualified reviewers from the concerned field.
2) All manuscripts are subject to review by two or more independent, anonymous reviewers chosen by the Editorial office. If revision is necessary, the author is sent the reviewer's comment and is asked to resubmit the updated, revised manuscript incorporating the suggestions and recommendations of the reviewer within two to three weeks. All revisions must be accompanied with a letter detailing the changes made to the original manuscript; changes should also be indicated directly on the manuscript (e.g., underlined or coloured text).3) Revised manuscripts are re-reviewed at the discretion of the Editor-in-Chief. The author of an accepted manuscript will be notified. He/She will receive page proofs ( in PDF) for proofreading prior to publication. Responsibility for accuracy in the final copy lies with the author. The Editor-in-Chief reserves the right to return a manuscript to the corresponding author without peer review if the manuscript does not comply with the Journal’s Instructions for Authors. All submissions are subject to final approval and acceptance for publication by the Editor-in-Chief. It is the goal of the AJED to publish manuscripts within 7 weeks after submission.
The entire section of the manuscript must be typed double-spaced and all pages numbered starting from the title page.
